CAPTAIN DENNIS REALY
Dennis Realy was born in Michigan and moved to Lee County
when he was 7 years old. Not quite a native but almost!
Since age 7 he had been fishing the back bay waters
of Pine Island Sound. When he was just a kid he dreamed of living
on an island like North Captiva and fishing all the time.
He moved to North Captiva in 1995 to work for Barnacle Phil's.
He started his own landscaping, tree trimming and yard
service business in 1999.

Meet The Captains
CAPTAIN DENNIS REALY

CAPTAIN GRETCHEN FALK
Gretchen Falk was born in Rhode Island and sailed down to
Sanible & Captiva aboard a 27' Sloop. After an around the world tour
aboard a 46' Ketch she returned to Captiva but it was just
too busy. She moved up to North Captiva in 1998 full time and
was the bartender at Barnacle Phil's, where she meet Dennis.
She worked as a sales administrator for
North Captiva Realty until 2001 and currently is
Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker Associate with
Upper Captiva Island Properties, Inc.
In 2002 they both she and Dennis recieved
their United State Coast Guard Captians licenses and formed
North Captiva Charters,Inc.
Since Gretchen has logged over 50,000 nautical miles she is also a Master Operator with a Towing Endorsement.
For 8 years they have been providing water taxi service, fishing charters and sightseeing
trips for North Captiva home owners and visitors to the islands of Southwest Florida.
About The Boat
The Pathfinder
The fishing boat is a 24' Pathfinder with a 225 Mercury motor. There is a T-top for shade, a live well for bait, a fish cooler for the catch, a separate cooler for your beverages and a stereo for tunes.
